[Sam stared out her dorm room window, out to the cold campus with spot of snow forming on the green grass. She pulled her legs closer to her body to keep warm. She wondered what the others were doing. She missed them, and dare she say it, she missed Kevin. He always knew how to cheer anybody up, even if they had 3 finals and 5 papers due the next week][Sarah walked to her car and got on the road. She already missed 2 days of school and she couldn\'t miss another. Sarah turned the radio on and a Jonas Brother song played. It was the same one Nick had sung to her years ago during their trip to Europe. That was an out-of-this-world experience: being in such a beautiful city with the sweetest boyfriend. Well, ex-boyfriend now. She sighed as she turned the radio off]\n\n[Sheryll had been tossing and turning in her bed all night. She didn\'t get a minute of sleep. It was going to kill her today. She had so much on her agenda and Lance couldn\'t giveher a break with fashion week coming up. Sheryll gave up trying to sleep and poured herself a cup of coffee. She looked out her window as she drank and thought about what Joe had told her about Sarah. She was so far up, the people looked like ants. It made her feel even more insignificant knowing that if she were down there, she would look the same to anyone staring from above]\n\n[Kevin woke up with a start. It was so quick, that he completely forgot what his dream was. He lay in bed as he listened to Nick\'s guitar. He was probably writing a new song. It sounded pretty good. With another tourcoming, they wouldn\'t be spending much time in their beds. The thought sent a current of electricity to his brain and he remembered his dream. Sam was there with him out on stage in front of what seemed millions of people, and he was happy]\n\n[Nick fuddled with his guitar until he struck the chords he heard in his head. The song was almost done, but it needed something. What was it? He got frustrated and put the guitar down by him on the bed. As he did, his eye caught on the writing on the back of it. It was Sarah\'s signature signed in green ink. She had signed it for him the first day she cameto watch him at a concert—backstage that is. She had joked with him saying that this guitar would always give him inspiration. The longer Nick stared at it, the faster his brain seemed to work. He picked the guitar back up and found the notes that struck his soul]\n\n[Joe lay on his side as he stared without seeing. When he finally focused his vision, he found he was staring at a picture of him and Sheryll on the first cruise. They looked so much younger and almost unrecognizable. So many things could change in a few years it was scary to think where they would all be in two more years. Wouldthey still be friends, or would they all part ways? Would he find someone new that he loved more than... Sheryll? Maybe, right? There has to be maybe, but he doesn\'t want it. Touring would put the family back on the road, but hopefully their relationships wouldn\'t be left behind like the empty house]\n\n[From where Joe lay, he heard Kevin\'s phone ringing and then stopped]\nKEVIN: Hey Sam, how\'s Boston? Really? That\'s awesome... We\'re going on tour again and we\'ll be passing pretty close to your campus... You read my mind. I\'ll see you in a month... Well... [Laughing] There\'s always video chatting... that\'s true... ok well I won\'t get between you and your homework...
