Performance at Studio Morra, in Naples Italy.The canvas was primed with medium/glue and two bowls of ink and ground tuffo powder were placed at the top of the canvas. Tuffo is a volcanic sandstone that lies beneath the city of Naples. The stone was ground into a fine powder for the performance.The powder is spread over the body and then the action begins with improvised movements of the body with light. \n\nThe body falls to a place of rest and then is covered in ink. Liquid wax is poured over the hands and chest of the body.
