I was always very into the old school guys like The Doors, Neil Young and Dylan were my favourites. Lately though, I\'ve been really interested in some of the new guys. I love Panic! At the disco, (or panic at the disco as they recently changed their name) fall out boy, Rocket Summer, Something Corporate, Mute Math, Regina Spektor is one of my favourites. I found this other girl on her myspace, Jenny Owens Young who I\'m really into. I love Tragically Hip but I wouldn\'t say I sound anything like them. \nAdam: Who would you say you sound like? \nRafe: Well, I tell people, stylistically I sound like a mix between Green Day and Billy Joel. Obviously that\'s not really true, it just gets people interested. I get \"Something Corporate\" a lot and also rocket summer. Sometimes people say I sound like Barenaked Ladies mostly because I sing really fast at some points, like in \"Love in a Little Grey Box\". I also am heavily influenced by John Mayer and Jason Mraz. \nAdam: Any songs your listening to a lot of these days? \nRafe: Ya, I really like \"Love Song\" by Sara Bareilles. That songs a blatant hit. Also, \"Say\" by John Mayer I love. Oh yeah, I was never a death cab forcutie fan but I love there new album. \"I will possess your heart\" is really a fantastic song. \nAdam: What\'s the best live show you\'ve ever been to. \nRafe: John Butler Trio followed by John Mayer. \nAdam: Top 5 favourite books: \nRafe: 5: \"The Game\". 4: Golden Compass Series. 3: Narnia Series. 2: Ender\'s game series. 1: Hitchhiker\'s guide to the Galaxy series. \nAdam: And movies?\nRafe: Hmm, not so easy. I\'m not as in to movies. Memento I liked a lot. Not as many clear cut favourites. For TV shows I love South Park and Battlestar Gallactica.Adam: Can you name some unknown artists that you really like?Rafe: Sure, I just saw \"The Midway State\" last night who was awesome. Robyn Dell\'unto, Darrelle London, Kat Fatale, Adam Jesin and Moksa Crew. David Borins. Peter J Fox, and tons more but I just can\'t think of them off the top of my head.Adam: Thanks!Rafe: NP. Thank yOU!
