Here is the third of the element Chaoses fights in Memoria.No, you didn\'t miss an appearance. I really did run into an unannounced boss fight (time for some backstory).\n\nThe four chaoses here are references to the elemental fiends from FFI (the very first Final Fantasy). Everything is referenced: their element, their appearances, their names (for the most part*) and the way you fight them. The only difference is the order you fight them.\n \nIn the last dungeon of FFI, before you face off against Garland in his Chaos form, you have to fight all these bosses again. The thing is that they appear as \'encounter points,\' meaning that when you walked onone of the squares in the dungeon, you would fight them (Square thankfully dropped this annoying concept later on). And you can fight them again and again, but not here. \n\nSo you run along the path here and hit the encounter point (step right after the column of light on the stairs) to start thefight unexpectedly.\n\nDagger, Eiko, Amarant and Freya against the sea monster, Kraken, in Ocean.\n\nHe might not look somewhat familiar: we never saw the water guardian Dagger and Eiko faced off against.\n\nIn FFI, he was the guardian of the water crystal in the Water Shrine.\n\nThe first quarter of the video reveals that there might a single center source of existence.\nThe next quarter is the actual fight.\n\nThe other 50% of the video is Dagger\'s 20 minute Ark summon (the same Ark you fought against).\n\nAlso, sorry that I didn\'t show my stats (I forgot). The equipment is pretty much the same. And the video went perfectly, so I don\'t feel like rerecording.\n\nHe is an interesting boss: he is the first boss to have multiple parts.\n\nFreeze can, well, freeze you, so have Body Temp.\n\nWater-gun is a counter he does when you attack his main body while the tentacles are alive. Its water damage to one character. Easy to avoid.\n\nThe tentacles can cast Ink, which does small damage and blinds you.\n\nAfter his tentacles bite the dust, attacking him might cause him to randomly counter with Leg, a physical attack doing 1000-2000 damage.\n\nSince he is a water monster, he wouldn\'t be complete without a water attack. Here comes...\n\nWaterga, an everyone attack doing up to 3000 damage. It can easily be countered with water-absorbing armor.Wait, where\'s Watera?\n\nDagger and Freya get the kill.\n\nDagger\'s Ark summon is shown for the first time.
