Was entered into the Anime Boston 2007 AMV contest for Drama.THIS VIDEO IS PURELY FAN-MADE AND IS IN NO WAY ASSOCIATED WITH THE MUSICAL ARTIST OR ANIME COMPANY IN ANY WAY. I DO NOT PROFIT FROM MY VIDEOS IN ANY WAY.\n\nIf you want to see this in higher quality, make sure to add&fmt=18 at the end of my video\'s url to see it in higher quality. Like this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPXFBQBjNy0&fmt=18 Doing so sometimes seems to make it a little jumpy and slightly off sync though. Make sure you let it load up all the way if you want to view it in high quality on YouTube or it will not play well at all. Please keep in mind that this is my first Vegas Video. I just jumped straight from Movie Maker to Vegas and didn\'t have the time I wanted to make this because of a busy schedule and silly me deciding I wanted to make this to submit only two weeks before the deadline. XD I hope you like it anyways.I think I did pretty decent on it.\n\nHardest tasks:\n-Timing the squares with the music in the background at 0:17-0:20 (Should have been easy, but I was having trouble for some reason).\n-Making it look like Zack was looking back at memories or having flashbacks and timing all them with the music at 0:34-0:37\n-Figuring out how to make it look like blood was pouring down at 0:51-0:58\n-Making the five extra \"blood\" (ink) drops at 1:03-1:06.\n-The lipsync at: 1:17-1:21, 1:26-1:30, 2:23-2:26, 2:52-2:55, and 3:00-3:04. (They look very off on the YouTube Screen for some reason, maybe I will offer a download link somewhere)\n-The squares floating around at 1:55-2:02 (I couldn\'t line up the footage in the box for the longest time so it kept jumping around at first. Arrrgh! Lol)\n-Trying to find an effect dramatic enough to match the intense music solo at 2:32-2:49 and the following scene for the \"I WANT TO DIE!\"\n-The scenes in front of and beside the truck at 3:53-4:08\n\nEasiest task:\n-Figuring out what anime to go with the song\n\nThis AMV took anywhere between forty to fifty hours to create. I chose the song \"Tourniquet\" by Evanescence for Final Fantasy VII: Last Order because it is a very meaningful song and the scenes fit the words of the song nicely. I used Sony Vegas 6.0 to make the video and it was my first Vegas video. \n\nWhen choosing the anime and song, I wanted to create a video that was very dramatic, heartfelt and meaningful. I knew Final Fantasy VII: Last Order would be a perfect anime to show the true meaning of the song \"Tourniquet.\" I had to keep in mind to not lose the feel of the song because I knew the anime had limited useable footage (less than twenty two minutes). I think the scenes I chose fit the meaning of the song which is very much about suicide and the forgiveness of sins. In the Anime, when Zack says, \"Please allow me to atone for my sins,\" it brings the song to my mind right away. People may ask what\'s up with the ending so here is an explanation: some people prefer to look at it as a spiritual song and see it as a song of question: If I commit suicide will I go to Hell? That is why I decided to make a reference to that with split screen scene at the end. Above has the beautiful clouds as a Heaven and below is the fiery hell: Is Hell the person\'s destination after suicide? A lot of people believe that. Hence, the flames erase Heaven above and fill the screen. I\'ve wanted to make a Tourniquet music video for YEARS, now it\'s finally happened! :)\n\n\nThanks again to:\n-Eric V (ZelosWilder) and Don S (Tasuki) for giving me support when I really needed it most. Especially when I was freaking out trying to make the deadline.\n-Adam Ferraro for taking the time to watch and judge this video even when all the other ones submitted were 100% better from the start.\n-The Amazing AMV makers at Anime Boston. You inspired me to take one more step up and try a new program. Your talent can\'t be described with any amount of words. NEVER quit! :)\n-Anyone at all who watches/comments/rates this video.\n\nThanks so much! I hope you enjoy. :)\n\nLove,\nMelissa 2007, AMV, Anime, Boston, Contest, Drama, Evanescence, Fantasy, Final, Last, Melissa, Music, Order, Overflow, Tourniquet, Video, VII
