For those of you who ask questions:It didn\'t hurt when I got it pierced, only afterwards when it swelled up.I got my tongue pierced at Universal Tattoos in Ottawa, Canada.I wasn\'t able to eat or speak properly for around 2 days. I could only eat non-solid foods such as soup, potatoes, etc.A white ring did appear around the bottom of my piercing for the first few weeks, don\'t worry, it goes away.Weird pus/liquid did come out of my tongue at some point, it should be nothing but if it continues for more then a few days, go get checked out for infection.Make sure to brush the top and the bottom of the tongue ring EVERY DAY for atleast 20 seconds.GOOD LUCK :) It\'s worth it. piercing, tongue
